1. Why Conduct Airtightness Testing for New Energy Battery Housings?

Today, new energy technology stands at the forefront of high-tech development, with the new energy vehicle industry growing particularly rapidly, emerging like bamboo shoots after the rain. However, as the industry expands quickly, the safety of new energy vehicles has become a key concern, and the sealing performance of batteries is undoubtedly one of the core aspects.

As the "heart" of a new energy vehicle, a battery's sealing quality directly affects the overall safety and reliability of the vehicle. Poor sealing can, at the very least, corrode internal circuits and shorten vehicle lifespan; at worst, it can cause flammability or explosions, posing serious safety risks!

3. Operating Steps of WAFU Brothers Sealing Tester

According to customer requirements, we customized a four-channel cabinet-type airtightness tester. It uses a direct pressure sealing method to test the sealing performance of battery housings. The specific operating steps are as follows:

  • 1. Place the product properly on the fixture and ensure it is securely fixed.
  • 2. Adjust the parameters, setting the time according to measurement requirements and pressure range.
  • 3. The testing process consists of four steps: inflation, pressure holding, inspection, and exhaust.
  • 4. The data display screen shows the testing progress of four products. A green indicator means the product passes, while red indicates failure.
